In order to provide safe, efficient, and pleasant service, Curry Public Transit asks all passengers to abide by the following guidelines and rules:
- Have your fare (exact change, please), ticket, or pass ready when you enter the bus.
- No smoking, eating, or drinking on the bus.
- Curry Public Transit has a zero tolerance for alcoholic consumption or use of illegal drugs either before or after boarding our buses. The driver may refuse passage to anyone who appears intoxicated, is overly aggressive or abusive, or otherwise disruptive to other passengers or the driver. In the event of a passenger exhibiting any unacceptable behavior, the driver may eject the offender from the bus at the earliest safe location and/or summon law enforcement.
- Carry-ons must weigh less than forty (40) pounds with a limit of two (2) per adult.
- Service animals and well-groomed, well-behaved pets restrained on a leash or in closed carrier are allowed, but must ride on the floor. However, any animal, even if confined, will be removed from the bus if it becomes excessively noisy or disruptive.
- Please remain seated at all times while the bus is in motion.
- Please minimize conversations with and distraction to the driver.
- Please signal the driver shortly before arriving at your stop (unless it is a designated stop) and be ready to exit the bus when it arrives at your stop.
- If you schedule a ride and need to cancel it, please inform the Dispatcher at least one hour in advance. If the bus comes to pick you up and you are not there, it will count as a "No Show." After two "No Show" instances, the passenger will be denied future service for a period not exceeding two weeks. If CPTI experiences a third "No Show" the passenger will be denied future service for a minimum of one year.
